The Stone Temple Pilots, the Californian rock band that originated in San Diego, will play three concerts in Florida starting August 19.

The band’s first concert  in the Sunshine State will take place on August 19 in Orlando a the UCF Arena. The following day the group travels to Hollywood to play at Hard Rock Live at The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

The third and final concert  in Florida will be in Tampa at the U.S. Ford Amphiheater on August 22 before moving to Alpharetta, Georgia.

The Stone Temple Pilots began their summer tour in Mid-May and will continue to tour throughout the United States until the fall visiting cities like Chicago, Denver, Detroit, Indianapolis, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and San Diego, before a closing performace in Seattle, Washington on August 31.

Also, as part of the 10th annual Vodoo Music Festival, the Stone Temple Pilots will perform at the City Park in New Orleans on October 24.

From 1987 to 2003, The Stone Temple Pilots’ five albums sold over 17.5 million copies in the United States alone and nearly 40 million albums worldwide. The band have had fifteen top ten singles on the Billboard rock charts, including six number ones, and one number one album on the pop charts.
