Who needs tickets?

The McDonald’s All-American High School  Basketball Game is a single exhibition game that is played after the conclusion of the high school basketball season. As part of the event, there is also a dunk contest and three-point competition.

The 2008 McDonald’s All-American Basketball Game will be held on March 26 at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The All-American Team is named each year for top American players of high school basketball. The McDonald’s All-American Team is the best-known of the American high school basketball All-American teams.

The 2008 McDonald’s All American  Team features a wide-spread talent pool, including: Greg Monroe (Helen Cox High School - Harvey, La.) the number one overall rated high school basketball player in the nation according to Scout.com and Rivals.com. Also taking the floor will be Demar DeRozan (Compton High School - Compton, Calif.), Samardo Samuels (St. Benedict’s Preparatory School — Newark, N.J), Tyreke Evans (American Christian Academy and Prep School - Aston, Pa.) and Scotty Hopson (University Heights Academy

Many of the biggest stars in American basketball have been McDonald’s All-Americans. Past team honorees include Baron Davis, Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, Shaquille O’Neal, Chris Webber, Magic Johnson, Paul Pierce, LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Garnett, Amare Stoudemire, Jason Kidd, and Dwight Howard.
